We know what upachaya houses are. It is said upachaya houses ie. 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th house start to give good results as we grow older especially malefics in upachaya houses. It is also known to all that malefics like saturn, mars, rahu- ketu, and sun give good results in these upachaya houses. And results of them grow or become better with age. But it is not as simple as it seems. Like i always say malefics are malefics even if they are yog karaka they will try to teach lessons in a strict way or they will give struggle to teach lessons of life. Like malefic in 3rd house - it is said to give courage, will power, perseverance, fighting spirit etc..etc..which is true but malefic in 3rd house also give poor communication skills, harshness or rudeness or direct speech (no diplomacy). Poor realationship with siblings and neighbours. But 3rd being upachaya house, results get better with age. As with age native becomes experienced and lears to deal with significants of 3rd house effectively. Similarly with 6th house- malefics in 6th house is said to be satru hanta yoga. Malefic in 6th makes one competative, disciplined, generally like to follow strict daily routine but again native does not like critisism- native tries to dominate or destroy his opponents and enemies even if native is wrong. But with age native learns to deal with it. Malefic in 6th house if afflicted (yes malefics also can be afflicted ) can cause serious health problems. Malefic in 10th house is different- 10th house is not just one of upachaya house. It is also higest of kendra houses.
