🌺Dhara-Karka (DK) “Your spouse, marriage, and your weak point” Dhara Karka or DK is the lowest degree in your chart that signifies the energy of your spouse, marriage, marital life, and aspects that you need support from people. DK doesn’t mean always denoted to a spouse, but sometimes also business partnerships and aspects that you need to work on as an individual. In my opinion, DK is an actual embodiment of the 1/7 axis. *Disclaimer This is a personal observation and opinion concluded by experiments and research. DK does not only signify the energy of your spouse but also your weak points OR aspects that you usually need someone with a strong DK planet to help and support you with. If you’re into business or perhaps you’re working in a team setting at work, observe your closest colleague and business partner, most probably he/she has a strong DK planet on your chart. This could be the reason why DK signifies spouse and life partner, as it indicates an energy that we need support to complete or flourish. (That doesn’t mean DK is a weak planet). Let’s say, for example, you have Venus as DK. Usually, it shows you will attract someone who is creative, sensual, and passionate towards whatever he/she is doing in life. Could also indicate someone who has a certain lifestyle which can be from a higher status. The theme I mentioned here can be applicable to your spouse OR business partner. You will find that Venus is an extremely significant placement in their personal chart (can be exalted, debilitated, conjunct many planets, their AK, or their ASC is Tuarus or Libra, etc). This shows that the person will be able to support, help and guide you in life, along with strengthening your natal Venus. 🌺The best combination that I found is when (in your person’s chart): 1- Your DK is their Atmakaraka OR Amtyakaraka (it shows mutual soul mission and path in life). 2- Your DK is exalted/debilitated in their chart (it shows a significant impact that may change you as a person, sometimes in a good way). 3- Your DK is ruling their ASC.
