Har Har Mahadev Rudraksha: It's said that the first Rudraksha tree grew from the tear of Mahadev. Rudraksha is the seed of rudraksha fruit. This fruit is blue in colour and we extract its seed when it dries. There are many many types of rudraksha mostly differ by the number of mukhis.( Total mukhi means total no of slice of rudraksha and each contains a little seed.) Conditioning of Rudraksha: Dip in Ghee(best is cow's desi ghee) or Mustard oil for 1-2 days. After that clean it with milk and gangajal.(if you don't have gangajal its fine). Energizing the Rudraksha: So after conditioning go to Shiva temple(if possible on monday) and put that Rudraksha on shivaling and do prayer to Mahadev and ask him to charge it and activate it. After that do abhishak on shivling. You can use as many as things for abhishak (like honey, bhasam, sugarcane juice) after that chant om namah Shivay atleast 1 mala. You can also give dhoop. Then pick the rudraksha and do parnam and say thank you to Mahadev. Then you can wear it in black or red thread (gold chain>silver chain >thread). While wearing please also do jaap of om namah shivaya. Some rules 1) Some people remove it at night but its not necessary.( People who don't feel comfortable can remove it at night). 2) Some Remove it during physical intimacy but again it also varies person to person. ( This rule exists because some don't feel comfortable) 3) You can eat and drink whatever you want. 4) You can wear during periods. 5) If you are not shadak or someone with a good mantra shakti, I would advise to remove it while visiting shanshan(cremation ground). 6) Please do conditioning of rudraksha regularly (once or twice a year is sufficient) it will help to increase longevity of it. 7) while removing and wearing after removing chant om namah shivay. >>If you want to wear a Rudraksha go for a 5 mukhi one ( this is general and everyone can wear it). In case of suggestions for specific rudraksha, an astrologer will guide you. >> Rudraksha is directly linked to Mahadev and by wearing Rudraksha you will see its effect on your mind (moon). He called me on this lunar eclipse day and asked if I was free as he wanted to visit me. That specific Rudraksha was abhimantrit by myself in months of shravan. He said Ritik Mahadev wanted you to give 5 mukhi for me so this all happened.( He doesn't believe in god that much) >>we don't chose Rudraksha but Rudraksha chooses you.
