These are 9 Navtaras: 1 – Janma, 2 – Sampada, 3 – Vipada, 4- Kshema, 5 – Pratyak, 6 – Sadhaka, 7 – Vadha or Naidhana, 8 - Mitra, 9 – Adhimitra Whichever nakshatra Moon is in your chart is Janmatara and for the rest, you need to count forward. E.g. If Jataka is born under Pushy Nakshatra the Pushya is Janmatara, Ashlesh is Sampadatara, Magha is Vipadatara and so on. After the 9th Nakshatra, it will start again so 3 nakshatras each get assigned to all Navtaras. Janmtara lord - Saturn, Sampadatara lord – Mercury, Vipadatara lord – Ketu and so on… The Dasha sequence starts from Janmatara like – Saturn Dasha, Mercury Dasha, Ketu Dasha and so on… What these Taras indicates 1. Janmatara: It is considered inauspicious, it’s dangerous to life, premature end, danger to health and mind. 2. Sampadtara: It’s all about wealth and prosperity. 3. Vipadatara: Danger to life if one has a short life yoga and running bad Dasha, it shows misfortune. 4. Kshematara: Wow, it’s all about one’s well-being, all types of auspicious events, peace of mind. 5. Pratyaktara: obstacles in life, may encounter failure, the phase before growth starts, danger to life to those having middle life yoga and running bad Dasha. 6. Sadhakatara: Also known as Sadhana, success, achievements in life, success all around, rise in life, power, position, authority, high social status, gains, etc. 7. Vadhanatara: It means death, Danger to life for those having Puna Ayu running bad dasha, risk of severe disease, misfortune, etc. 8. Mitratara: Help, support, freedom from worries, friendship, etc 9. Adhimitratara: Intimate friendship, intimate relationship, joy, relaxed, etc. 👉 Understanding benefic and malefic planets based on Navtara chakra Planets placed in 1, 3, 5 and 7 Navtaras and trine to it are bad for the native Same example as above, Jataka born in Pushya nakshatra then the planets placed in PUSHYA, MAGHA, UTTARA PHALGUNI, CHITRA and the rest 8 nakshatras trine to these four (Anuradha, Moola, Uttara Ashadha, Dhanishtha, Uttara Bhdrapada, Ashwini, Krittika, Mrigshira) are not good and will be considered malefic. Dashas Result - Dasha of the planets sitting in Ashubh tara (1st, 3rd, 5th& 7th ) is bad for the Jataka – Let’s call it Ashubh Dasha - Dasha of the planets sitting in Subh tara (2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th & 9th ) is good for the Jataka – Let’s call it Shubh Dasha - Shubh MD – Shubh AD – Great period - Shubh MD – Ashubh AD – Below average period as AD has the ability to change the MD results - Ashubh MD – Shubh AD – Above average - refer above principle - Ashubh MD – Ashubh AD – Painful period and experience based on navtaras indications and planets condition Gochara Result - When analysing any planet’s transit result first see that in which tara that planet belongs to - For example, while analysing Jupiter’s transit – If Jupiter is in 1, 3, 5, 7th tara’s nakshtra from Janmatara then Jupiter’s transiting from a good house from AL will give average results and transiting from bad houses then below average results (for eg If someone has appeared for competitive exam and waiting for the result and this kind of combination + transit is there then, one can predict the negative result - But, Saturn transiting to bad houses from AL and it’s in 1, 3, 5, and 7th tara’s nakshtras from Janmatara then it’s going to a painful period and could be dangerous to life if Dasha is bad AND vice-versa for good results. Example to explain: Jatak was born in Oct 1980 and lost his mother on 23 Sep 1997 Moon in Ashlesh so Ashlesh - Janmatara, Magha – Sampadtara, Purvaphalguni -Vipadtara and so on Dash starts from Mercury – Bad, Ketu – Good, Venus – Bad, Sun – Good, Moon – Bad, Mars – Good, Rahu – Bad, Jupiter & Saturn – Good When he lost his mother he was running Dasha was Ketu/Moon (July’97 to Feb98) He is Cancer Lagna and Moon, Mo+Ra – 1H, Ve - 2H, Su+Ju+Sa – 3H, Me – 4H, Mars – 5H, ketu – 7H When we look at 4H, doesn’t look bad as Mercury is in Friends sign and its dispositor is in 2H - karaka for wealth, 5H & 10H (Maraka) for 4H owned by Mars in his sign then how come he lost his mother in his Ketu/Moon period One can argue that the chart has Kalsarp yoga and that’s the reason, first of all, it’s Kaal Amrit Yoga [It has a different connotation] and yes it has an impact but still from 4H, Ketu is in 4H and Mo is in 10H. Ketu is co-lord of 5H (Marka but not in bad condition). But when you look Dasha we get to now - Ketu Dasha of 2nd Tara which is good but the Moon dasha of 5th Tara not good and AD can modify the MD result Now instead of Lagna when we use Arudha Lagna & Pada, we get Aries as AL and 4H is cancer, Rahu+Moon in it – oh Moon Antardasha has to do something with mother, let’s focus Now we know Dasha & which house and karaka is getting impacted Let’s see the transit Day of loss, Rahu was transiting from Marka house 2H, P.Phalguni (belongs to 3rd Tara – bad) and Jupiter & Saturn in natal chart (in U. Phalguni - 4th Tara - good), in transit Jupiter was in Capricorn 7th aspect on Cancer, so we can expect Jupiter to give blessings and save Jupiter was in Shravan nakshatra (5th Tara – Average), Saturn in Pisces, trine to cancer but transiting through Reveti Nakshtra (1st Tara – Average). So Rahu did his work here. Also, Jatak was running the 17thYear, the 5th house was activated which is 2nd from 4H, Marka Sthana and Rahu was transiting over Markesh (Sun), over Jupiter (in Marana Sthana) and malefic Saturn – First got an electric shock and then died due to heart attack. Conclusion - Bad Dasha + Bad transit can give very negative results.
