And when our soul feels complete- souls purpose to take birth is achieved- it does not need to take birth again in this karmabhumi. Hense, no more pending karma. When we are not able to achieve balance between all four puruṣarthas - our soul remains incomplete. And when souls desire is incomplete it needs to take birth again and again till it achieves completeness- a complete life.
