What is Kendradhipati Dosha? In Parashar Shastra, It is clearly mentioned, natural benefic lording the Kendras loses his strength to give auspicious results and natural malefic owning the Kendras do not bestow inauspicious results. Therefore, whenever natural benefic (Mercury, Jupiter, Venus) owns the Kendra houses, they lose their beneficence or Kendradhipati Dosha is said be activated. Keep in mind, benefic loses some part of their beneficence, however, they still remain benefic, but with lesser capability. Similarly malefic loses some part of their malefic, still they will remain malefic with lesser capabilities. The evil nature of Jupiter and Venus is extraordinary whenever they becomes the lords of the Kendra houses. If they owns and also occupy the Kendra house as lord of the Kendra, they become powerful killers. This can be the most malefic state for Jupiter and Venus unless they haven’t any relation with Trikona houses. Venus has less of this evil nature as compared to Jupiter. Mercury has much less than Venus. The same way the Sun, Mars and the Saturn get strength whenever they owns the Kendra house. According to Parashara, Kendra house are not so good unless they do not owns or have any connection with Trikona houses. 1st, 4th and 10th lord can own both Kendra and Trikona houses at same time, but the lord of the 7th house cannot own Kendra and Trikona houses at same time. Therefore, 7th house plays a major role in Kendradhipati Dosha. Example- In Gemini or Virgo ascendant, Jupiter is not capable of giving god results as he is owning two Kendra house at same time. Example 2- In Sagittarius or Pisces ascendant, Mercury is not capable of giving god results as he is owning two Kendra house at same time. Example 3- In Capricorn ascendant, Venus, a benefic, gives good results not being the lord of the 10th house only but by being the lord of a Trikona house (5th house). Venus is owning Kendra and Trikona houses at same time. Therefore, Kendradhipati Dosha of the Venus is cancelled or converted into Yoga.
